I've lived all my life in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, attending Pewaukee district schools from elementary to high school, participating on local sports teams (Pewaukee Sussex United & Pewaukee Recreation), and even volunteering several summers as a summer camp counselor for Pewaukee Parks & Recreation, which led to my first full-time job and sparked my passion for bringing happiness to others. 

 

In high school, I was a starting left-back in varsity soccer, played alto saxophone, took numerous AP courses, and maintained a 4.1 GPA. I enrolled in the Global Business Insight Program during my senior year. The rigorous coursework, real-world business experience with client deliverables, and mentorship with an IT Applications Manager paved the way for my first internship (as an IT Helpdesk Intern) and fostered my drive for success. I applied to 3 schools - UW Madison, Marquette University, and the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. I got into all three business schools but pursued my childhood dream of becoming a Wisconsin Badger.

I'm now a UW Alumnus with a Bachelor's in Marketing and Information Systems, completing my "four-year" degree in just three. I completed two internships: an IT Helpdesk Intern for Gustave A. Larson and an IT Server and Storage Operations Intern at WEC Energy Group, where I worked part-time during the school year. After graduating with my degree, WEC Energy Group hired me full-time, joining the Infrastructure Administration team as an Associate IT Consultant. My story is one of many that demonstrate how impactful hard work and internships are for a college student. 

 

I know what it takes to be successful in high school, college, and sports. I'm thrilled to share my knowledge and experience with Pewaukee youth to help them prepare for their journeys.
